The International Fire Code New Jersey 2006 Edition was updated statewide as of July 1, 2018 to the 2015 Edition (IFC NJ 2015 Edition). This update references newer editions of National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) fire protection standards for inspecting, testing and maintaining fire protection systems, specifically NFPA 25 (sprinkler and other water-based fire protection systems), NFPA 72 (fire alarm systems) and NFPA 17A (wet chemical kitchen fire suppression systems) that were impacted significantly.
