Kistler O'Brien Fire Protection new office ribbon cutting

Kistler O’Brien Opens New South Central PA Location

READING, Pa. – Kistler O’Brien Fire Protection officially opened a new location in the south-central region of Pennsylvania on Friday, July 26, 2024. The grand opening celebration featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony outside the new office and warehouse space. The move to this new location in Reading, Pennsylvania, was needed as the company’s regional operations outgrew the previous location.

Over the last year, Kistler O’Brien started departments for fire alarm inspection and maintenance and sprinkler system inspection and maintenance based out of the south-central region of Pennsylvania. This brought quicker response times and more local resources for KOB’s customers in the tri-state area.

The new office is at 10 Wingco Lane, Reading, PA 19605.

Members of the organization’s executive leadership team and south-central branch personnel attended the grand opening celebration.

Kistler O’Brien Fire Protection started in 1933 in Allentown, Pennsylvania, and has grown to employ over 210 employees working at three locations serving Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware for commercial fire protection. In addition to the south central location, KOB has offices at 37 Industrial Blvd., Suite E, Paoli, PA 19301, serving the Delaware Valley region of Pennsylvania, and its corporate headquarters at 2210 City Line Rd. Bethlehem, PA 18017.

All office locations have standard operating hours of 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Kistler O’Brien Fire Protection’s life safety experts are available for 24/7 emergency services 365 days a year.
