Alarm Assistant Manager

The Alarm Assistant Manager assists the manager with day-to-day operations of Alarm/Engineered Systems department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Works with Manager and General Manager to implement priorities and action plans to meet division goals, revenue targets and financial profitability
  • Assists with day-to-day leadership and management of the department to provide the Best Customer Experience for both internal and external customers
  • Leads and manages technicians on a daily basis
  • Manages technician Training, Certification and Ladders programs
  • Provides on-going Performance Management responsibilities to direct reports
  • Responsible for the coordination and scheduling for the department
  • Serves as the Sedona and FSU Subject Matter Expert
  • Conducts Send-Offs for technicians at the beginning of the day and Check-Ins at the end of the day
  • Ensures that Tollgates and Job Deployments occur with Sales and other departments
  • Responsible for handling all calls from external customers
  • Accountable for technician vehicle fleet; cleanliness, maintenance and inventory
  • Works with Fleet Manager to oversee GPS program. Acts as secondary point of contact for GPS vendor
  • Partners with Non-Compliance Sales on non-compliance work
  • Assists with Continuous Improvement efforts within department
  • Ensures compliance with the company safety program and procedures
  • Administers and enforces company policies and procedures

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; strong preference for an Associate or Bachelor Degree
  • One to three years of experience in Alarm service, maintenance or installation
  • One to three years of experience in a mechanical, technical or service maintenance field
  • One to three years of supervisory experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to move up to 75 pounds of equipment & materials with proper tools and safety methods
  • Valid Driver’s License
