The State of Delaware’s Fire Marshal has issued a revised Certificate of Inspection Form that goes into effect November 1, 2019. This form is for use by licensed fire protection companies. According to the Office of the State Fire Marshal: “Effective November 1, 2019, discontinue the use of all previous forms and begin implementing this new form. This generic form is to be used for each of the five (5) different types of systems. The name of the Licensed Company and License Number is still required, but the only occasion where the Technician or Inspector’s name and certificate number needs to be included is when a water-based fire protection system is being tested and/or inspected.”
