Monitoring Coordinator

The Monitoring Coordinator is responsible for all functions and activities as it relates to monitoring.  Functions such as the administration and processing, sales, account set-up and day-to-day operational tasks fall under this person’s responsibilities.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Administration/ processing of accounts. This includes initial-set up, account configuration and renewal
  • Day-to-day operational tasks include but are not limited to: placing systems on test for customers and technicians, communication with customers on technical issues, administrative tasks such as password management and report creation
  • Liaison to the monitoring company. Work with the monitoring service on issues, report creation, and account clean up
  • Creation and set-up of new accounts. Working with customer to collect information necessary the account
  • Troubleshooter: Ability to interpret the data and put together proper plan to customer.  This may come in the form of a service call to make repairs to equipment
  • Sales: creation of proposals to upsell equipment, send technician on service calls and/or propose a new account
  • Audit accounts for accuracy and make corrections as needed
  • Perform additional tasks as necessary

Education and/or Experience:

  • Associates degree or bachelor’s degree required in business management or equivalent
  • 2+ years’ experience in office administration, production or data entry


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and General Software Platforms
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and phone manner
